BMJ Collective involves a number of talented young jazz musicians, drawn mainly from the Cardiff area. They partner Black Mountain Jazz through the year on number of programmes and workshop projects.

This event brings together three of the current tutors of our latest youth project BMJazz Katz – Jack Mac (sax and vocals), Ryan Thrupp (drums) and Nick Kacal (bass) – click on their names for more information.

BMJazz Katz is a new project which aims to give young people the opportunity to play together in a big band. It is open to those aged 11 to 19 years.

Proceeds from ticket sales from this gig will be mainly used to support our BMJazz Katz youth project.
