Jon says: “We present melodic, exciting and emotionally engaging compositions written by me specifically for this quartet. They perform the music with intelligence, energy sensitivity, respect and enormous creativity”.
The band will be playing music from the album Earth Songs. In his Jazzwise magazine review, critic Pete Vacher said: “The interplay between the band members is often magical”.
Jon Lloyd was a force in the 1990s free jazz scene and has since developed a wider European aesthetic.
